Wild Things

Wild Things are different from other things
They come and they go with God alone as their master
If by chance one enters your world, it's a wonderful thing.
Yet it is not bound to stay

Wild Things give themselves to no one. They are free
They may choose to stay but they are never owned
They are the Wild Things, this is part of their beauty

You must never tie one or hold it too tightly
Like a beautiful flower that withers too soon
Wild things die when they are not free

Some of us are Wild Things too
